Why You Must Stop Problem Solving

I know.  You probably gasped when you read that title.  And maybe even thought “Okay, Melissa is losing it.”

Let me ask you this:  do you find that you are focusing on solving problems, or are you living in the energy of the solutions that already exist?

You see, those are two very different perspectives with two very different trajectories.

When you are constantly focused on solving problems, you stay in the territory of problems to be solved.  You will continually find more and more problems to have to eradicate.  It will be never ending.  Always another problem popping up to be addressed.

If you like playing in that arena, feel free to stay there.

However.

There is a much better strategy if you want to quickly catapult yourself into the success you truly want.

And that is — live in the energy of the solution that already exists.

From this vantage point, you are continually aligning yourself with solutions and success, rather than problems, frustration, and stagnation.

Now I understand that the monkey/reasoning mind may start to scream: “But I don’t SEE the solution!  How can I live in its energy if I cannot detect it with my physical senses?!”

I have a couple of other questions for you.

>>> How many times has a solution to a so-called problem appeared seemingly out of nowhere?

>>> How many times did a solution arise when you threw your hands up and said “eff it, if it’s meant to be resolved, it will be!”

>>> How often do you find yourself not knowing HOW something will work, but then it does, and not in a way you thought?

That’s the beauty and magic in trusting that the solution already exists, and giving up the silly notion that you’re supposed to know exactly how.

Your focus and the lens through which you view the world shifts dramatically when you decide to trust that the solution is already present, and you’re just tuning into it.

Your job is NOT the “how” of anything.  And while I truly know that as an ambitious, action oriented woman that may be painstaking to hear, I want you to begin to look at action as the fun you get to have as the solution is being revealed to you, rather than what you have to do to get the solution.

The solution is already there, already coming.

Stop looking for more problems — that’s what’s blocking the solution, my friend.

With love,

Melissa
