The Power of AND (and how to use it to your greatest benefit)

Sometimes the sneakiest limiting belief is that we have to change something before we can be/do/have what we feel called to.  

In truth, there are zero limits.

So the thing you think you need to change *before* you can be/do/have what you desire?  

Doesn’t actually need to change.  

And while that may seem tough to believe at first, think about all of the times you got fed up with a situation and decided “that’s it, I am done with this, and I don’t care how it has to shift” 

and you still kept being YOU, the only difference being that you decided nothing else in your experience mattered, that thing was going to be different NOW.

It was the decision to use AND that shifted things.

To believe that you could stand where you were in the moment AND move toward what you want and let it unfold for you.  

So here’s a quick way to get your mind on board.

>>> What are the automatic negative thoughts (ANTS) that run through your mind when you think of or envision what you want to be experiencing?

Remember, just get curious and be accepting.  Zero judgment in this space. I don’t care if you “should know better” or have been having those ANTS forever and a day.  So what?  Nothing is there to stop you, nor will it.  

In fact, when you find that you have been holding onto a persistent pattern of thought for a bit, rejoice!  

You are powerful and hold onto things tightly, which means you can also hold onto things that serve you better tightly. 

The way to begin the shift is to let it be okay that you’ve held onto something that no longer serves you.  At one point it did.  Now you are going to choose differently.  

That’s it.

Let’s just move forward.

So what are the ANTs that come up?  

Whatever they are, pose them this way:

“ANT”  >>>  AND  <<<  I can and will still experience what I desire.

A concrete example is:

“I feel like I don’t have enough time for all of the things AND I can still have way more than enough time for all of the things.”

Your “belief” doesn’t need to line up immediately — your consistent reframing is all that’s needed, because eventually the new belief will take hold.  

You don’t need to clear the thing you think is holding you back in order to experience what you want.  

You decide and declare the new and the thing you perceive is holding you back will clear.

And then go do the damn thing you feel called to do.
